What To Expect At ‘DWTS’ Disney+ Party, Songs With Dance Styles Revealed

Next week’s Disney+ themed episode of Dancing with the stars promises to be full of unforgettable performances. The remaining 13 couples will once again step into the ballroom, this time dancing to iconic songs from the company’s history.

The highly anticipated fourth episode of DWTS will be a bit more specific for the very first Disney+ party. The chosen songs are only from movies and TV shows available on the streaming platform.

The Disney+ party will start strong with the dancers kicking it off with a routine to “Colombia, Me Encanto,” from the Disney Animation Studios movie. Encanto. Special performances of “That’s How You Know”, Delighted and “Try everything”, from zootopia will follow. The bonus performances celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.

Selma Blair and Sasha Farber will do a quick routine on “The Muppet Show Theme,” from The puppet show. The songwriting team of Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart also takes the fast step free at last”, musical high school. Finally, Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy take the quick step to “Mr. blue sky”, guardians of the galaxy.

A jazz routine will be performed by Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrong on “Remember Me,” from coconut. Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas will do the same routine on “The Simpsons’ Main Title Theme,” while Wayne Brady and Witney Carson also perform a jazz routine for Wait for it”, hamilton.

Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater will do a samba routine on “Life Is a Highway,” from Cars. The second team that does samba is made up of Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki at “Il Gatto E La Volpe”, from Lucas.

Joseph Baena and his returning partner Daniella Karagach will dance to “A Star Is Born” from Hercules like a Charleston routine. Drag queen Shangela and Gleb Savchenko will do Charleston for “Dig a Little Deeper,” from The princess and the Frog.

Heidi D’Amelio and her partner Artem Chigvintsev will dance the Viennese waltz to “Chim Chim Cher-ee”, from Mary Poppins. Doing the Jive is Jessie James Decker and Alan Bersten on “One Way or Another,” and Sam Champion with Cheryl Burke will perform a Paso Doble on “The Greatest Show” from The greatest showman.

The Disney+ stream will be available nationwide and will begin at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Viewers can vote for their favorite team by visiting the official site from Disney+ or by sending an SMS.
