I’m bouncing back this morning listening to Shaggy cover crooner Frank Sinatra-Tony Bennett’s classic, “That’s Life.”
Both the track and the album it came from, titled “Com Fly Wid Mi”, are produced by none other than Sting. The single is out, watch the video. The album was released on May 25 with Shaggy appearing on numerous talk shows. The following evening, May 26, there is a special concert with Sting and Shaggy at the Blue Note in Greenwich Village.
PS Sting’s tour has arrived in the United States. He plays at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut on Sunday, May 15. Then comes his residency in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, “Mrs. Sting”, the one and only Trudie Styler has been to Ukraine meeting refugees and raising funds. Additionally, Sting and Trudie’s daughter, Elliot Sumner, has a new single (see below). below) titled “Angel” from the movie “Infinite Storm”, produced by Styler.
PS Sting’s son Joe Sumner just played Rockwood Music Hall in downtown New York outside of his dad’s tour (May 16 – Rockboy Philly club in Philadelphia). His daughter Mickey plays in “Snowpiercer” on TBS, his daughter Kate plays in Los Angeles. What a family!
