Sting Extends Las Vegas Residency “My Songs” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

Musician Sting, winner of 17 GRAMMY Awards, has extended his critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency, “My Songs,” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with six new dates in April 2023. The shows will take place on April 1, 2, April 5 and 7. , 8 and 9, 2023.

Produced by Cherrytree Music Company, Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, “My Songs” features a collection of Sting’s most beloved songs with dynamic and visual references to some of his most iconic videos and inspirations.

Throughout the show, the world-renowned musician treats fans to an array of the greatest hits from his illustrious career, including “Roxanne”, “Message In A Bottle”, “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”, “Every Breath You Take”. and several other fan favorites, plus new songs from his latest album, The Bridge.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, June 17 at 10 a.m. PT. Members of the Sting.com fan club will first have access to a presale from Tuesday, June 14 at 10 a.m. PT through Thursday, June 16 at 10 p.m. PT.

Composer, singer-songwriter, actor, author and activist, Sting was born in Newcastle, England, before moving to London in 1977 to form The Police with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. The group has released five studio albums, won six GRAMMY Awards® and two British Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

In 2019, Sting was honored at the BMI Pop Awards for his single “Every Breath You Take”, which became the most-played song, with 15 million radio plays, from Sting’s catalog of over 14 million musical works. Always known as a musical explorer, pioneer of sounds and collaborations across genres, Sting’s forthcoming album, Duets, compiles some of his most famous collaborations, including those with Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox , Charles Aznavour, Mylène Farmer, Shaggy, Melody Gardot, Gashi and more.

Sting’s latest album, The Bridge, showcases his prolific and diverse songwriting prowess. Representing diverse scenes and styles throughout his unrivaled career and drawing inspiration from genres such as rock n’ roll, jazz, classical music and folk, the eclectic album features Sting’s quintessential sound on tracks pop-rock such as the opening rock salvo of the album “Rushing Water”. and the new indie-pop sound “If It’s Love”.

Most recently, Sting produced Shaggy’s latest album, Com Fly Wid Mi, which finds the dancehall/reggae icon performing Sinatra’s songbook in a reggae style. To celebrate the release of the albums, Sting hosted a party at the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in New York where Shaggy performed the album in its entirety.

Sting appeared in more than 15 films, produced the critically acclaimed A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, and in 1989 starred in The Threepenny Opera on Broadway. His most recent theatrical project is the Tony® nominated musical The Last Ship, inspired by his memories of the shipbuilding community of Wallsend in North East England where he was born and raised.

The show, with music and lyrics by Sting, ran on Broadway in 2014/2015 and completed a UK regional theater tour that ran from March to July 2018. Subsequently, Sting starred as shipyard foreman Jackie White in the Toronto production of The Last Ship at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Sting’s support for human rights organizations such as Rainforest Fund, Amnesty International and Live Aid reflects his art in its universal reach. Along with his wife Trudie Styler, Sting founded the Rainforest Fund in 1989 to protect both the world’s rainforests and the indigenous peoples who live there.
