Dancing with the stars will return to the 90s on Monday’s episode with hit songs from the decade, featuring special guest artists Salt-N-Pepa, Fashionable, Vanilla ice cream and Kid ‘N Play.
It’s a double elimination night and a double dance night. First, the remaining eight celebrities will perform new dances with their pro partners and then participate in the return of the Dance Relay, which will offer each winner the chance to earn five bonus points. All four relay dances will feature a live performance by one of the special guest artists.
So how prepared are celebrities?
“Listen, I grew up in the 90s, okay?” shangela Told Parade. “So the 90s were all about rhythm. The 90s were synonymous with creativity. The 90s was a movement, baby. So that’s what we want to bring to this ballroom next week. Gleb [Savchenko] gonna put it all together, but I’m gonna bring the spirit of what I experienced growing up in Paris, Texas in the 90s. I might even wear a high top. We never know.”

And Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater are going to match their costumes to the title of their song, which is “Barbie Girl”.
“Can you imagine us as Ken and Barbie?” Trevor said Parade. And with his blonde hair and chiseled abs, it’s definitely possible!
Emma added: “When they said ‘Barbie Girl,’ I was like, ‘Oh, yeah. Therefore we are going salsa our way.
