“Love Songs” concert at KAC on February 12



CLINTON – The B Sharp Musical Club will kick off the KAC Live spring season with the “Love Songs” concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 12 at the Kirkland Art Center, 9 1/2 E. Park Row, Clinton.

Love Songs is a Valentine’s Day celebration of classic love stories from the letters and diaries of the Schumanns and Johannes Brahms, featuring Lauralyn Kolb (soprano), G. Roberts Kolb (tenor), John Murphy (tenor) and Tina Toglia (piano) with readings by Marilee Ensign and Peter Loftus.

The performance, which is sponsored in part by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), is free and donations are welcome. Masks and proof of vaccination required.

The B Sharp Musical Club is a 114-year-old non-profit organization that supports music and the arts in the Mohawk Valley. It presents free concerts and music streaming throughout the year and awards competitive scholarships to talented young musicians.

KAC is a nonprofit, multi-arts organization whose mission is to educate children and adults, advocate for artists and the arts, and engage the community in a range of cultural experiences and opportunities.
