Jean Danton sings Broadway jazz songs at the Thomas Crane Library Quincy


Soprano Jean Danton will perform in Quincy from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday May 15, as part of the Concerts at the Crane series. Luke Molloy will provide piano accompaniment.

Danton and Molloy will perform a mix of popular Broadway and jazz tunes.

Danton is an acclaimed opera, musical theater and concert performer. She performed with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops and sang at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York. His concerts include the Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Carmel Bach Festival, Baltimore Choral Arts Society, among others. His solo records include “A Very Merry Christmas” and “Thankful”. His stage performances include roles with Boston Baroque, Greater Buffalo Opera, American Repertory Theatre, Boston Classical Orchestra, Boston Lyric Opera and Boston Camerata.

The library is at 40 Washington St. Doors open 15 minutes before the show. Advance registration is not required. The concert will also be broadcast live on Youtube channel.
