Ernie Haase and Signature Sound will perform on stage at the Golden Belt Community Concert for the third time in five years. Their lush four-part harmony and elegant presentations predominate as one of the concert association’s most popular shows. This concert will be no exception.

The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 14 at the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium. Grammy-nominated musician Ernie Haase founded Signature Sound in 2003 after his rich experience as a longtime member of the acclaimed Cathedral Quartet. Haase has also performed with the Gaither Homecoming Tour.

This male quartet, recognized as one of the best gospel quartets in the world, has also branched out to play secular music.

Their performance this season promises to be a spectacular spectacle with the band supporting the vocal group to include piano, drums and bass, as well as synthesizer, guitar, saxophone and even more lighting displays and video than those originally proposed.

Presenting “Decades of Love,” spotlighting favorite love songs across the decades, from the Gershwins to Nat “King” Cole, the Beatles, James Taylor, Disney and John Legend, the band will once again leave audiences await his next comeback with another brand new performance, the sponsors said.

This GBCCA event is open to members of the association. No single concert tickets are available. Anyone who is not a member and wishes to purchase a season pass can do so at this concert. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Season passes are $50 per adult; $10 for any student registered full-time; $110 for a family membership (two adults and all dependent children living in the same household); and $110 for a grandparent package (two adults and up to four minor grandchildren).

Because the concert association encourages music education in schools, full-time students of all ages will be admitted to the concert with a $5 donation at the door.
