On Sunday afternoons, 95.5 KLAQ brings you a two-hour block of the latest national rock releases and shines a spotlight on El Paso rock, regional rock, and Borderland rock. We call this block: Q-Connected.

After this week, the show will take another hiatus, due to Cowboys shows, so we’ll be hearing from artists who are definitely ones to watch in 2022: like save the bandit.

Led by Hennah Elizabeth, vocal coach at El Paso Sound Stage 9 School of Music, they’ve released a new video around Halloween and you can check out the “fiery action” below.

We will also have brand new songs from 2 local bands BEFORE they are released;

as hope will release a new song on Friday the 11th & 1-800 will release their new song on Monday the 14th and you will hear BOTH new songs this Sunday.

You can hear 2 of their popular songs below.

We will also hear from laser brain, A nice rush making their series debut, Las Cruces’s final single Ventura Rivers & much more.

On the national side, we have one of the most iconic names in punk rock, Iggy Pop. Lately he has worked with Andrew Watts (who has worked extensively with Ozzy Osbourne), Chad Smith of Hot red peppers & Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses.

You will hear the new song, “Frenzyat the start of the show. You can hear one of his previous singles before this one below.

If you’re an El Paso artist, live or play with 200 Miles of El Paso, you can always send your music directly HERE or email me at Daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com
